Bentley has introduced the Bentayga Artenara Edition, a special series that ties the SUV’s identity more directly to Gran Canaria, and in the process broadens the catalog in several directions at once. The company presents it as “a new pinnacle in contemporary luxury,” though the more concrete point is that buyers get plenty of choice: V8 engine or hybrid setup, plus standard and extended wheelbase body styles.

The model will be available in no less than eight exterior hues, such as Havana, Beluga, Pale Brodgar, Verdant, Glacier White, Dark Sapphire, Sequin Blue, and Granite.

Within the volcanic caldera of Tejeda, in the municipality of the same name, sits the Roque Bentayga formation, a natural rock pinnacle that rises to 1,414 meters (4,639 ft) above sea level inside the Nublo Rural Park. It is also considered an archaeological monument because it contains a sanctuary built by the indigenous Guanche people. Bentley now uses that backdrop as the basis for the edition’s detailing, while the Artenara name itself refers to the highest village in Gran Canaria.

The bespoke parts of this Atelier-curated special edition begin with a Roque Bentayga mountain etched on the fascia. There is also a pattern of laser-crafted perforations on the seats and doors, and the same design direction carries through to the door cards and even the puddle lamps. Up front, Bentley adds the rugged mountain topography around Artenara, together with the precise longitude and latitude of the Roque Bentayga.

Mulliner content also becomes more central here, with plenty of standard options to include. However, what makes this particular model stand out is the tuner`s double diamond grille, which perfectly blends in with the new set of wheels, sized 22 inches and polished in grey. Body-colored lower brightwork is available in eight different hues, and there are also eight colors arranged to work with the triple-color interior split, a feature that had previously been exclusive to the Mulliner EWB model.

Underneath, the special edition packs the standard choice of aV8 or V6 Hybrid drivetrains, while the Extended Wheelbase variant will only get the twin-turbo V8 pot.

Bentley is also using this launch to note additional updates for the 2027 Bentayga range: Dark Teal joins the palette, and a 23-inch Super Lux wheel becomes available as an option on the Azure, Artenara Edition, and Mulliner EWB. Beyond the vehicle itself, Bentley Connected Car service is set to expand into six more markets: Australia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, New Zealand, and South Africa.
